Quarter Master® Lightweight Steel Flexplates

Lake Zurich, IL – Built for block-mounted starter applications, lightweight Quarter Master® Flexplates are built to withstand the most demanding engine conditions.
Steel Quarter Master® Flexplates for Ford and Chevy applications are engineered to stand up to the stresses of modern, high-RPM racing engines. All flexplates from Quarter Master® are designed to mesh perfectly with a corresponding Ultra-Duty™ Starter for a reliable start every time, meaning that you will never get left behind. Each of the four Chevy flexplates features a 153-tooth design. The single lightweight Ford flexplate meanwhile utilizes a total of 157 teeth. Lightweight and ultra-lightweight flexplates are available for two-piece rear main seal, early Chevy applications, while lightweight and ultra-lightweight options for one-piece rear main seal, late model Chevys are also offered. The late model option is a perfect choice for crate engines when used with the Quarter Master® balanced clutch button assembly for 5.5" or 7.25" applications. This provides the lowest moment of inertia on the market. All flexplates are neutral balance, with engine balance matched by using the appropriate button-style flywheel for each application.
